Join us for a soul-stirring yoga experience at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio- established in 1876 and recognized on the National Registrar of Historic places.

Among weathered stones, open skies, and quiet pathways, you'll be invited to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters in this humbling all levels vinyasa flow. This is more than movement-it's a return to presence. In a space where time feels suspended, each breath becomes more intentional, each posture more meaningful. The stillness of the cemetery offers a rare kind of peace-serene, reflective, and deeply calming-creating the perfect environment to turn inward and let the outside world slip away for one hour.

Expect a practice that is gentle yet powerful, grounding yet expansive with a reminder of both the fragility and beauty of life.

Class Details:

• $20 a person and a portion will be donated to the cemetery. Please reserve your spot online. You will have the option to pay on the website with your card or you may pay at the cemetery via cash or venmo day of. Please register either way.

• Class is at Riverside Cemetery : 3607 Pearl Rd Cleveland, Ohio

• See time on schedule/calendar for class time as class times vary

• We will meet at Memorial circle, a map will be emailed to all those registered the day before. The map is also located online, memorial circle is between sites 22 and 23 off to the left of the cemetery entrance. Park along the side leading up to it.

• Bring your own yoga mat, a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Please dress for the weather- we are outdoors.

• This cemetery has a LOT of history and is well known for its breathtaking monuments and gorgeous well-kept grounds. We highly suggest leaving time before or after to walk around.

• You are welcome to walk around after or before. Please note, cemetery gates close at 7pm.

• In the event of inclement weather, we will reschedule. If you cannot make the new date you can opt to donate the money towards the cemetery or receive a refund. Because we do donate a portion, no refunds will be issued for cancellations 48 hours before the event start time unless we cancel/reschedule. You are welcome to transfer tickets to someone else. Please email Trish about any ticket transfers.

"Each pose a whisper

but no gentle surrender-

we twist, hold, strain

the body to fold into itself,

bones and breath finding their

limits, their potential

as Beethoven gently sweeps through

air, piano notes draping over gravestones,

we press deeper,

to activate, to achieve, to release

in a place where time stands still

the sun relentless on our faces,

bright against the dark heart of things,

and we breathe through it,

through every pull and reach,

wrestling for stillness within

Each pose a conversation with gravity,

our bodies stretching between two worlds,

communing with the roots of the trees

and gazing into the shadows of the headstones

and, at last, we reach corpse pose

spines sinking into ancient ground,

the weight of effort dissolving,

as life and death brush shoulders

in the warmth of day that feels timeless."
