Join us for a gentle, low, slow-flow yoga class with our adorable otters- yes! Real otters doing yoga right beside (and sometimes on top of) us!!!!

Due to the unpredictable Ohio weather, we are on an otter yoga break and will return MARCH 2026! sign up for our newsletter and follow our social media to be alerted when classes become available to book! Classes will become available appx 1 month in advanced. Gift cards are available on our website, but not required to book, are nonrefundable, and do not guarantee any specific date.

Expect laughter, light movement, and a splash of pure unfiltered joy during this one-of-a-kind experience located at Westmeister Farms in Shelby, Ohio. -$80 per person, must purchase ticket in advance. Tickets are nonrefundable

-Located at Westmeister Farms- 4097 Plymouth Springmill Rd. Shelby, Ohio. Parking is available. please note location, we are a virtual studio ONLY and have no studio location despite what google says. please go to the farm for this otter yoga class.

-Doors open at 815am, please remain in your car until doors open.

-Bring a mat or towel and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. No jewelry permitted or hair accessories including clips, claws, headbands, bobby pins, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. Anything that can be removed is not permitted.

** please READ all guidelines/rules below prior to purchasing to ensure you are able and willing to adhere to the rules so you can have THE BEST DAY EVER ***

*Due to the popularity of this class, refunds are NOT permitted. We understand life happens, so we will accept ticket transfers from one person to another. you would have to handle all the details amongst whoever you were switching tickets with and email trish@metasoulyogastudio.com with the new ticket holders name. You MUST email me from the email you used to purchase tickets so I know whose they originally were.

-Please note, ticket transfers are for the SAME date that you purchased. ex: If you purchased an event/class for 11/25; that ticket is only good for 11/25. Due to popularity and structure of setting up events we cannot move dates/times. Thank you.

*There has been mat causalities!!!! Understand, otters are very playful and see everything as toys. Flimsier mats have been torn. The firmer thicker mats seem to do just fine. Please do not bring gym mats with stuffing inside as they may tear these open and pull out the stuffing. Whatever you end up bringing, just know we are not responsible for any damages so ensure you're not bringing anything of high value to you.

*The enclosure is indoors. This event is rain or shine.

-We will be doing yoga with friendly and loving otters; please dress accordingly. Comfortable clothing you can move in without strings.

-There is a porta potty available for use.

-We will not be in the pool with the otters, but you may get wet from them.

-nothing should be in your pockets. They will take items. Think curious puppies that have little hands.

• ***- NO jewelry is permitted. This includes earrings, bobby pins, hair clips, watches, body jewlery, necklaces, clip in or tape hair extensions, bracelets, etc... they can and do take these things off. They can unscrew things, open clasps, and unzip. It is VERY difficult to get these items away from them and they'll become protective making it a safety issue for yourselves and our handlers who have to retrieve these things. It is also a liability to the otters - our furry friends could choke on these items, damage teeth, or swallow them causing harm. Therefore, Anyone who refuses to remove jewlery will be asked to participate outside of the enclosure.
• We can't stress this enough. Safety for the animals, the employees, and all of you is a priority. Animal experiences are so unique and amazing but safety for all involved will always take top priority. Please follow these guidelines so everyone can have the best day ever, not the worst. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the experience who is not following safety standards or is causing any issues.

-You may bring a phone for photos and videos!!! The otters may grab phones and they may chew on certain cases or remove them. By choosing to bring your phone in, you are assuming all responsibility for it and we are not liable. ...We will take photos during the event as well and help you capture some great moments you'll cherish for a lifetime!!!! Please note, I am teaching yoga and the handler is maintaining safety, therefore we cannot guarantee to capture every single moment; we do take anywhere from 150-130 photos though, so we get most of them. Do not have credit cards or papers or any items in your phone case. They can take cases off and get to those. Please remove any pop socket as well.

*This class is beginner friendly. Kids are permitted 10+ with an adult present. Kids must be able to adhere to any rules with respect to the animals, the other yogis in attendance, and class. Any minor under 17 years old must have an adult with them who also purchased a valid ticket to the event. We don't allow spectators. With this being an animal experience every child must have a parent present with them for the duration of the activity, trust me...you'll feel like a kid too!

• This is a class with live animals. Your enjoyment is important to us; however, the otters' enjoyment is our top priority. We do not pose or place our otters- we allow them to do what they would like to do so they continue to enjoy class with us. We have never had a class where they did not interact with everyone at least once, but we cannot guarantee you they will be paying the most attention to you. We do our best to motivate them to visit the folks who may not be getting "the most" attention but can't promise anything. Otters do not like being forced into anything, picked up, or feeling like they are trapped- and we respect that. All photos you see are 100% natural (which is pretty awesome!) and we will always keep it that way out of respect for the animals. Thank you for understanding this. Sometimes there's certain people they gravitate towards more, sometimes there's certain areas they hang out in most, sometimes they take otter naps, and sometimes they have a lot of energy, and it is otter chaos. There is no way for us to predict how they will be for any given class and we will always refuse to try to force them to be anything other than their amazing selves. Thank you for understanding this and for also allowing our favorite little cuddle potatoes to be who they are- actual live otters.

*We apologize, but there will be absolutely no walk ins permitted. This is a very small event with only 10 tickets available.

*A tour of the farm is not part of this event.

* Meta Soul and Westmeister Farm are not responsible for any clothing, phone, mat or other items damaged or soiled. We will be interacting with socialized friendly otters who will be excited to flow with you and show off. However, this is still an animal experience and by coming to this event you are assuming all liability and risks associated with this event, By purchasing you are acknowledging that you are interacting with animals that have the potential to become unpredictable. Meta soul yoga studio as well as westmeister farms are not responsible for any damages to property or injuries you or your children may occur. We do have a handler in the enclosure with us at all times to ensure a safe and fun event but as with any animal encounter there is always a risk.
