
Slow down in this gentle meditative 30 minute yoga class. During a restorative yoga class we use props to support us in passive poses for several minutes at a time helping us trigger the parasympathetic nervous system which can calm the mind and body.
This practice can help ease common ailments such as headaches, back aches, anxiety, post workout muscle soreness, and many more everyday issues.
We recommend having a minimum of 2 blocks, a yoga strap, a yoga blanket, and a bolster. If you dont have these items substitutions can be made (see the free short video we made in the library regarding props). The instructor can also offer the poses without the use of any props for those who require those modifications. Please note, you will get more benefit from having the props though.
