Join us for a truly elevated restorative yoga experience inside the serene, heated sloth enclosure at Westmeister Farms. This deeply calming class is designed to help you fully slow down, release, restore, unwind, and embrace the art of rest- sloth style.

The restorative yoga portion will consist of a 40 minute true restorative class including fully supported postures, gentle movement, and deep breathwork inside a tranquil warm environment right alongside our very special sloth guest. Following class, guests will spend appx 15-20 minutes learning all about sloths with the opportunity to come up and pet the sloth and have individual photos taken on their phones.

• Location: Westmeister Farms 4097 Plymouth Springmill Road Shelby, Ohio

• Time: 11am-12 *please remain in your vehicle until doors open. No early entry permitted

• $100 per person *only 6 people per class ensuring an intimate tailored experience

• All props included (Bolster, blocks, straps, and mat) Guests are welcome to bring their own props if they prefer

FAQ:

• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please double check your date/time as well as location prior to purchasing.

• Children: Well behaved children 10 and up are permitted when accompanied by an adult who also purchased a ticket. No spectators permitted. Please note, although we will have lots of fun and laughs during the second portion, the beginning is a quieter restorative class. If children are coming be sure they know we will be holding poses for several minutes at a time in a very relaxing atmosphere. We want everyone to enjoy their time so respect to the class as a whole is appreciated and parents will be expected to ensure their children are not disruptive.

• No spectators are permitted. Our classes hold 6 people per class making it more intimate. We do not allow anyone to "just watch", everyone must purchase a ticket to attend

• Restorative is extremely gentle- any level is welcome. No experience in yoga or restorative is necessary

• We clean our props after every class as well as wash our bolster covers. If you have allergies or sensitivities towards cleaning products or detergents, we suggest you bring your own props if possible. The instructor can also modify the poses without props- but the props in restorative truly make it.

• In the event of an emergency, unforeseen circumstance, scheduling error, or any other issue that should make it so you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. It is not the yoga studio or the farms responsibility to find someone to transfer your ticket to. Please email trish@metasoulyogastudio.com with the new name of the person coming should this occur. As stated above, all ticket sales are final and refunds are not permitted. Tickets are only good for the date purchased and cannot be transferred to another future date.

• We are proud to be an "animal- first facility". What this means is we allow the animals in our classes autonomy and free will. The sloth may be out and moving the entire class or he/she may be inside their tree (they are still visible in here). On any given day they may be happy with receiving lots of pets and/or snacks or they may have a little more boundaries that day. We let them decide, which really makes it that much more special in our opinion! We can't guarantee how they will act during any class. But we can promise you it is a very unique experience-how often do you get the opportunity to do restorative yoga INSIDE an enclosure with a sloth just watching them naturally in their habitat? And then go up and interact with them after! It's ahhhmazing!

• Classes open up appx 1-2 months in advance and are typically on scattered Saturday, sunday and mondays. Every once in awhile you may find another day of the week added. • A tour of the farm is not included with the yoga class ticket purchase

• There is a gift shop at the farm

• There is a restroom at the farm

• The event is inside. We slow flow rain or shine! :)

• Tips are never expected with these events but are appreciated should you feel you had an amazing time. The yoga instructor and sloth handler do not share tips. The handler can be tipped via cash, venmo, or card in the gift shop. The yoga instructor can only be tipped via cash or venmo.

• Sloths like warmth and we will be inside their space. So class will be warm. Dress accordingly/wear layers. Restorative is a very gentle style of yoga where we lay in poses supported by our props so we will not be working up a sweat (unless the regular warmth of the room makes you sweat)

• There are no physical tickets to bring. Upon purchasing your name and info is added to the studios class roster and you will be checked in at the door.

• We will take photos for you during the meet and greet portion of class with your own cellphone that way you can leave with your photos right on your phone! The space and background is like a DREAM!!! During class you are welcome to have your phone on you in case you want to take additional photos during the experience.

Even though we put these measures in place, have a handler in the space with us at all times, and the sloth is extremely socialized, they are still a wild animal. By purchasing a ticket, attending our event, and entering the enclosure you are assuming all liability and risks for yourselves and/or your children and are therefore agreeing to not hold Meta Soul Yoga Studio or Westmeister Farms accountable for any injury, damage, bite, scratch, illness, infection, disease, death or any other medical, physical, traumatic, or emotional damage you may suffer by attending this class whether it be from the exercise itself, the animal(s), or the property. Furthermore, Meta Soul Yoga Studios and Westmeister Farms is not liable for any damage to your personal property including mats, cell phones, phone cases, jewelry, clothing, or any other items you chose to bring with you or wear. When you purchase a ticket and attend, you are agreeing that you understand you are waiving the right to any legal action or otherwise against Meta Soul Yoga Studio, Westmeister Farm, any animal, or any employee within either party for any injury or damage that occurs to you, your child, or your personal property.
