CLASS INFO:

-8:15am-9:30am

-$100 per person. Ticket required. Non-refundable and non-transferable. No walk-ins or spectators permitted.

-Located at Westmeister Farms- 4097 Plymouth Springmill Rd. Shelby, Ohio

-No yoga experience necessary

-Ages 12+, all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also purchased a ticket

-Bring a mat and/or towel

-Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. No jewelry permitted or hair accessories.

-Limited to 10 participants for a more personalized, intimate experience.

Class Rules/Terms and Conditions:

*All ticket sales are FINAL. Please confirm your desired date prior to purchasing. Due to the limited class capacity and the extensive planning that goes into each experience, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable to a different date. Tickets are only good for the date purchased. You may transfer a ticket to a different person in the event of an emergency. Tickets are still only good for the date purchased. *Meta Soul is not responsible for rescheduling/finding someone to transfer a ticket to in the event of a personal emergency, scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances. We can post that you are looking to transfer a ticket but cannot guarantee we will find someone to purchase it from you. By purchasing a ticket and booking, you are acknowledging you read all this information and are agreeing to these terms.

*There has been mat causalities!!!! Please do not bring a mat you are married to as it may get damaged. No mats with stuffing/foam inside as this can become a hazard to our animals.

***- NO jewelry or hair accessories permitted. This includes earrings, bobby pins, hair clips, watches, body jewelry, necklaces, clip in or tape hair extensions, bracelets, etc... this is a safety issue for you, our otter handler, and especially our otters. Anyone who refuses to remove jewelry will be asked to participate outside the enclosure.

-You may bring a phone for photos and videos!!! The otters will grab phones, and they may chew on certain cases or remove them. By choosing to bring your phone in, you are assuming all responsibility for it, and we are not liable. ...We will take photos during the event and help you capture some great moments you'll cherish for a lifetime!!!!

*Any child or adult who is unable to follow directions or is a safety concern for any reason may be told to participate outside the enclosure. It is up to the discretion of the otter handler to determine this-not the parents or participants. Safety is our top priority for you and the animals. Please trust their expertise on the matter and listen to them if they ask you to remove yourself or your child. In the extremely rare event we do need to remove a participant, trust there is very good reason and we are doing so so that you or your child do not get injured. You are not entitled to a refund should this occur.

Answers to FAQ:

*The enclosure is indoors. This event is rain or shine.

-There is a bathroom on the premises

-We will not be in the pool with the otters, but you may get wet from them splashing in their water bowl.

-There is ample space to leave items as we are in a locked enclosed space and you can view your items from the enclosure we will be in. You do not need to bring a lock.

*This class is beginner friendly. No yoga experience is necessary

*Kids are permitted 12+ with an adult present. All participants must be able to adhere to all rules with respect to the animals, the other yogis in attendance, and the experience as a whole. We don't allow spectators. With this being an animal experience every child must have a parent/guardian present with them who also purchased a ticket for the duration of the activity.

*There are no physical tickets, upon purchasing your name and info is on my roster. I will check people in at the door

*A tour of the farm is not part of the event price and is not promised. The farm does occasionally offer a farm tour after class for an additional cost, so feel free to keep it in mind while planning; however, this is very specific to guide availability each day so we cannot guarantee a tour after. If you're planning a trip and want to factor it in keep a flexible hour and a half to two hours open after class.

*You can do yoga outside the enclosure if you prefer not to go in, you still do need a ticket.

*Classes release approximately 1-2 months ahead of time. We offer anywhere from 4-12 classes a month. They are always on scattered Saturdays, Sundays, and/or Mondays. We do not know an advance schedule ahead of time- there is a lot of behind the scenes work and scheduling we do to make the magic happen. We do not offer private classes or yoga with them any other day of the week- they have a busy schedule, and we will never burn the otters out by having them overstimulated for profit/human preferences.

*For your best odds of booking sign up for our monthly newsletter on our website. We announce the day classes will release there and then later post on our socials. There are thousands of people who all want to get into class. This is a very limited special experience, we know it can be difficult to get in. Just keep trying :)

*We do not have a waitlist

• We do not announce a specific time classes will release, our web server cannot handle mass bookings all at once.

Because we are proud to be an "animal first" facility:

This is a class with live animals. Your enjoyment is important to us; however, the otters' enjoyment is our top priority.

* We do not pose or place our otters-we allow them free will so they continue to enjoy class with us. We have never had a class where they did not interact with everyone at least once, but we cannot guarantee you they will be paying the most attention to you or interact with you specifically.

• Otters do not like being forced into anything, picked up, or made to feel trapped- and we honor their boundaries. All photos you see are 100% natural (which is pretty awesome!) and we will always keep it that way out of respect for the animals. Thank you for understanding this.

• Sometimes there's certain people they gravitate towards, sometimes there are certain areas they hang out in more, sometimes they take otter naps, and sometimes they have a lot of energy making it otter chaos. There is no way for us to predict how they will be for any given class. Ya otter believe, we will always refuse to try to force them to be anything other than their amazing selves.

• We are the only place in the world that allows you to do yoga inside an otter enclosure...so come in just ready to be present and truly enjoy the experience as it is that day without expectations from them. You're in for an otter treat!

• This is an animal encounter/experience. We take every precaution to ensure safety ;hence this long description, our briefing prior to entering the enclosure, and waivers. Even though we put these measures in place, have a handler in the space with us at all times, and the otters are extremely socialized, they are still wild animals. By purchasing a ticket, attending our event, and entering the enclosure you are assuming all liability and risks for yourselves and/or your children and are therefore agreeing to not hold Meta Soul Yoga Studio or Westmeister Farms accountable for any injury, damage, bite, scratch, illness, infection, disease, death or any other medical, physical, traumatic, or emotional damage you may suffer by attending this class whether it be from the exercise itself, the animal(s), or the property. Furthermore Meta Soul Yoga Studios and Westmeister Farms is not liable for any damage to your personal property including mats, cell phones, phone cases, jewelry, clothing, or any other items you chose to bring with you or wear. When you purchase a ticket and attend, you are agreeing that you understand you are waiving the right to any legal action or otherwise against Meta Soul Yoga Studio, Westmeister Farm, any animal, or any employee within either party for any injury or damage that occurs to you, your child, or your personal property. Anyone is welcome to participate outside of the enclosure where they can enjoy the otters with a barrier to mitigate some of these risks associated with the animals.
